Lyrics
We confess the wondrous myst'ry-God made flesh, th'eternal Word,
And rejoice in our salvation
Won through Jesus Christ our Lord.
With the Father and the Spirit
All was made by God the Son;
He sustains, renews creation;
God and man now joined as one.
He was born of Virgin Mary,
Lived among us, crucified,
Dead, and buried, rose to heaven
And as judge shall soon arrive.
Kept the law, atoned for sinners,
Satisfied God's wrath, for us.
Took our filthy rags and gave us
His own robe of righteousness.
Jesus Christ is Lord forever
And our Prophet, Priest, and King;
Builds His church, now interceding,
Reigning over everything.
We confess these wondrous myst'ries
And His glories we proclaim,
Now and ever lift our praises
For the honor of His name.
