Description

A hymn on the holiness of God from the series of hymns titled "The Lord Is"

Lyrics

The Lord is holy, free from sin, unmatched in all His glory.
Before His throne angelic ones cry "Holy, Holy, Holy."
His holiness does fill
His being, works, and will.
No eye can fully see
His holy majesty.
O who can stand before Him?

The Lord has welcomed sinful man into His sacred presence
By sending Christ, the Lamb of God, to bear His holy vengeance.
Through faith the Lord applies
This perfect sacrifice.
The Spirit now ensures
His people are made pure
That they might bring Him glory.

The Lord will show me, face to face, the fullness of His glory.
Before His throne I'll join and sing "Lord, You alone are holy. "
Since this great hope is sure,
I strive to be made pure;
Empowered by His grace
I will complete this race
And one day stand before Him.
